"All is well here with our family which, of course, includes our two 'characters', Sukyi and Shani! They continue to delight us with their antics even though they are behaving a little more 'maturely' lately, ON OCCASION! Both kitties are VERY affectionate … Sukyi usually likes to be held by Linda whereas Shani is Terry's special friend but both will demand attention throughout the day from either one of us. If Terry is lying down on the couch reading, Shani will invariably find a comfy spot on him and stretch out for a big snooze."

"Mike and the girls and I keep talking about sending you an update about Peaches. We all adore her – more and more as she settles down into a lovely (but still very rambunctious) and affectionate girl. She still begins to purr as soon as we pick her up. If I am rushing around and busy she will look up at me and mew for attention until I pick her up to talk to her. Gabrielle and Lauren have spent many happy hours cuddling and playing with her. She seems to be a bit of a water baby for a cat – often climbing in the shower or bath soon after someone has finished sitting or lying on the wet surface. When she wants a drink from the tap, she will climb in the sink and remain there while it drips on her. She is getting more of her peach colored markings every day – her coat is beautiful and soft. So, thank you very much Susanna – she is exactly the family addition that we were looking for."
"Just a quick note to let you know how Miss Blossom Malibu is doing. She is growing like a weed and has settled in very well. She is one smart little kitty … comes to her name and as soon as you tell her you are going to the garbage she runs to the door (she loves the opportunity to run down the hall) and knows exactly which door to stop at where the garbage goes. Ross has taught her to fetch and return. She absolutely loves to be snuggled or played with…a little spoiled I would say, but that is ok too. She has certainly won the heart of anyone who has met her — so you may get some calls from Calgary and area."
"Hello Susanna. We have Bema with us! What a joy he is, so affectionate, purring all the time and rubbing against us. We are just thrilled. He rolls over for a tummy rub and is going to be a wonderful companion. We were so surprised and pleased that even the first day when we picked him up and had friends over, with it being New Year's Eve, he acted as if this was home and cuddled down on our friends' laps. Many thanks for this wonderful little chap."

The first thing that impressed us with Susanna's cattery is that she is a small cattery where each cat gets raised underfoot. The house was very clean and did not smell at all. The cats we were introduced to were all healthy looking, active and very social. It was obvious to me that Susanna works very hard to socialize her kittens, and all cats are loved very much. I was also impressed with Susanna's ethics as a breeder. She genuinely cares about the cats, and therefore is very careful about selecting homes for them. She does not just hand over the kitten and forget about them. Susanna makes herself available to her kitten buyers for any questions or concerns that they may have, and loves to hear from the kitten buyers about their baby's antics.
I decided that Azuremist Birmans was the cattery for me. I was put on a wait list for my Birman baby. I finally got my boy this past summer. He is everything that I wanted and more. He settled into our home with a dog and four other cats with no problems at all. In fact, all the other animals love him!
I have been a visitor in Susanna’s home several times now as a friend, and spent time with all of her cats. This has given me the opportunity to see that my first impression of Susanna as a breeder was in every way correct. I can say with absolute confidence that if you purchase a cat or kitten from Susanna, you will not regret it. Her cats are worth every penny of the purchase price, as they come with a lot of love, socialization and well-taught manners. If anyone who is thinking about getting a cat or kitten from Susanna, but cannot get to see her cattery, please feel free to call me for a reference. Thanks Susanna, for our little Tango. He is an amazing little guy who gets attention where ever he goes. Today we took him to Cameron's school for show and tell, and every child in the room, plus several parents and the teacher were in love with him in minutes. Tango is our first Birman baby, but he is most certainly not our last. We look forward to many more Azuremist babies in the future.
I first met Susanna at a cat show when I decided to adopt one of her beautiful Birman kittens. These kittens are raised underfoot with hugs, kisses and lots of love, and this was obvious when we brought him home. Right from the start, our little boy made himself at home, sitting on our laps and happy to be cuddled. With all the care and attention he received in his first twelve weeks, he expected just the same, and that's what he got! He was completely litter box trained and only scratches the post provided — never the furniture. Susanna's Birmans are well socialized and have sweet dispositions.
When you adopt a cat from Azuremist it doesn't just end there; it is reassuring to know that Susanna, being so professional, is always available to answer any questions and happy to give support and helpful advice. Susanna doesn't say goodbye to her kittens once they are adopted, she continues to take an interest in their progress and growth. My little guy is thriving and is a wonderful companion. My husband and I would have no hesitation in adopting another kitten from Azuremist Birmans.
