Azuremist Birman Kings

Zanzibar is a Seal Lynx Point Birman and is Azuremist's main breeding male. He's received a number of regional awards as well as receiving the award of Best Seal Lynx Point Birman Internationally in 2003-2004. He attained the title of Quad Grand Champion in TICA before retiring from the show ring. After being leash trained, Zanzibar has thoroughly enjoyed daily walks through our garden and lawn area in the spring and summer. When we relax for our morning coffee on the sundeck, Zanzibar happily joins us and especially loves it when I put a Rod Stewart or Il Divo CD on. He will serenade me with his warbling tones as he sings along. No doubt about it, he is a special Birman boy with personality plus that he passes along to all of his kittens.

Cinnamon Heart is a gorgeous Cream Lynx Point Birman and is my first home-grown breeding male. He had a rough start in life; with his mother passing away hours after he was born due to birthing difficulties. I had to hand feed him around the clock and literally become his "mom". He will snuggle into my neck & chirp when wanting special attention. He also loves to wrap his paws around my neck and hug me. He's fathered some beautiful kittens that carry his sweet loving nature. I'm thrilled that he is able to continue the legacy of his mother Abigail.

Yukon Mist was my very first Birman and although he has never been one of my breeding boys, he certainly introduced me to the "Wonderful World of Birmans". After getting this lovely Blue Point show boy I was totally hooked on the Birman breed. Yukon Mist was shown in the "Alter" class at TICA shows and has won numerous regional awards and also won the award of Third Best Birman Alter Internationally in 2003-2004. He has attained the top title of Supreme Grand Champion and has always been a joy to show. He's now retired from the show ring and relaxes at home with us. He greets me at the door when I come in and if I whistle for him he will always come running. Yukon Mist is a joy in my home and he loves being the "uncle" to all of the Azuremist kittens. This sweet and gentle boy will always have a special spot in my heart.

Yoshi is an Azuremist Kitten bred out of Zanzibar and Ariel. He's a lovely Blue Lynx Point Birman which I gave to my niece Cassandra as a special Christmas gift a couple of years ago. Cassi has been involved with the Junior Achiever program in TICA and has successfully shown her boy to his current title; Quadruple Grand Champion Alter. He's also received the award of Third Best Birman Alter in the TICA Northwest Region for 2005/2006. Congratulations Cassi on raising such a sweet loveable show boy and learning all about grooming and showing your boy so well. Your dedication to Yoshi has developed your skills in feline care and Yoshi's obvious love for you is a testament to the loving care you've given him.
