Azuremist Birman Kittens

Birman kittens
Birman kittens are born, on an average, three to five kittens in a litter. They are born pure white and within a few days the nose leather begins to change color giving an indication of what color the points will be. In a week or two, the gloves and laces become more defined as the color points begin to darken on the kitten's legs. Birman mothers are well known for their devotion to their babies and the kittens flourish under this special attention.

Three Little Kittens …
Every Azuremist kitten is raised in my home and never caged. They receive extensive hands-on interaction from the day they are born until they are placed with their new families at 12 – 13 weeks of age. Releasing them at this age allows every kitten time to be properly weaned from their mothers as well as being properly socialized. The transition to their new home is much easier for the kitten and becomes a joyful experience for the new family. People who adopt one of my kittens continually comment on how affectionate each kitten is and how quickly they adapt to their new families.

Buffy & Cinnamon
We have a lovely Golden Retriever named "Buffy" who thinks she's one of the Birmans. I call her "my Birman wannabe"! She also thinks that each kitten is her personal furbaby and loves to play and cuddle with them.
